[COVID-19] || Parliament Shuts Down Over COVID-19 Spread

Information reaching Nsemsisi.com has it that parliament has suspended with immediate effect sittings over the rising COVID-19 infections in the house.

The decision was conveyed to the Legislators by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin during Tuesday’s sitting.

The number of infections in the house has risen in the past weeks.

It was reported yesterday that 17 MPs and 151 Parliament Staff tested positive for COVID-19.
