On the interview, His Excellency, said he wants to leave a good legacy and therefore will do all he can to give Ghana an unprecedented development of all time.
He began with the Year of Roads. He said his government is working assiduously together with responsible constructors assigned to various roads under construction to make sure every road in Ghana especially in the Eastern Region get tired before his tenure ends. He also mentioned various roads under construction like the Abirem road.
He said that as he promised to build a bridge on the Afram River, it is still in the pipeline and will hopefully be seen soon.
On COVID-19 pandemic and vaccinations, the urged all to take the vaccines so that his aim that 20M Ghanaians gets vaccinated comes true.
The pandemic is very serious and is causing most people to their graves and to save lives, there’s nothing to do than to vaccinate.
On how to sustain the Free SHS policy, His Excellency said the policy is still in the process and he is hopeful that it will work so that it can be a law but not a mere policy that will serve all Ghanaians.
When the President was asked about coup d’etat, he said he believes in democracy and would also want Africa to believe democracy too. He continued by saying, ECOWAS too believe in democracy and that they don’t support presidents who weren’t honoured by polls. And because of this, the Community has given countries like Guinea and Mali an altimatum to to go to polls. “Any country that tries to oppose the ECOWAS is trying to fight against the entire world,” he said.
He was lastly asked on the NKAWKAW SPORTS STADIUM. His Excellency assured all to stay calm as the middle belt development Authority is doing their possible best to engage the contactor and make him responsible.
