The death of JHS student who allegedly committed suicide of Miracle Educational Academy Junior High School (JHS) in Sunyani has been described by a Senior Specialist Pathologist at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital as unnatural.
Dr Ernest K. Adjei, the pathologist, said Leticia Kyere Pinaman died as a result of asphyxia (suffocation) through hanging, and, therefore, unnaturally.
Leticia Kyere Pinaman was found hanging on a rope tied to a crossbar holding the ceiling joints at the school’s dining hall about 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021, while the students had converged on the school’s church auditorium for Bible studies.
