Your Boys Are Growing – Late Major Mahama’s Wife Pens Emotional Message To Him

Wife of late Major Mahama, Barbara Mahama sent an impassioned tribute to her late husband in a Facebook post, telling his spirit of how his children are growing up exactly like him.

She went on to say that the children are doing well and that whenever she sees them, she is reminded of her late husband.

Dear Maxwell, your boys are growing, they are doing well. It amazes me the kind of things that can be inherited, sometimes it’s funny. One walks and I see you in him, the other talks and it’s so like you. I enjoy listening to them just as I enjoyed listening to you, I end up saying to myself you never went”. Parts of the notes indicated.

“I will laugh unapologetically, I will dance unapologetically, I will cry when I want to cry, there is no timetable in this journey. It’s okay to be okay and it’s okay not to be okay”. She added.

Major Maxwell Mahama met his untimely death on the 29th of May, 2017 after residents of Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region mistook him for an armed robber when he went jogging through the town.
